Dandelion seeds on stones and metal:
discomfort
impossibility
still point
moment point
freeze frame
magical realism
puzzling
disconcerting
counter to laws of physics
why?
how?
suspended time
frozen in time?
like the moment at the top of a parabola when an object is stationary
sense of unreality
against laws of reality
-
Seed + Nut
Dandelion seed on rusty metal nut. -
alchemy
magic
unease
confusion
something that should be moving but is completely stationary
has the seed has absorbed the nature of the object it sits on and is now heavy and dense
or is it the opposite with the base object taking on a sense of lightness?
making the insignificant, significant
revealing the beauty in a derided and overlooked object (weed seed)
Nature reclaiming its space
